Introducing inbound voicemail to dial up your Outreach Voice experience

Posted May 24, 2018

Time spent on the phone is the most important time in a customer-facing rep’s day. In fact, 92% of customer interactions happen over the phone. We want to make those moments as easy and frictionless as possible so you can get to meaningful conversations faster.

We’re excited to bring you brand new inbound voicemail functionality to Outreach Voice to make your calling experience more efficient and effective. Today we’re releasing both the ability to receive voicemails in Outreach, and the option to customize the greeting for your voicemail box.

We’ve all had those moments where you’re having a really great call with a prospect, but then your phone starts buzzing and you see an inbound call on the other line. It’s that super hot lead you’ve been trying to get in touch with for weeks! What’s a rep to do -- risk yet another missed connection with the holy grail of accounts, or fumble the call you’re currently on? Spoiler alert: you don’t have to choose.

Inbound Voicemail allows Outreach Voice users to create personalized voicemail recordings for when they're not there to answer the phone. Now when a prospect calls you back but you can’t answer the phone, your prospect will have an option to leave a voicemail and you will be automatically notified via email when you receive a new voice message. You can listen from anywhere right from that email notification.

Additionally, the voicemail inbox allows you to record your own customized greeting to make your prospect’s experience more personal.

We’re excited to dial up your call capabilities in Outreach with these new features, but we’re just getting started taking your Outreach Voice experience from awesome to even better. Stay tuned for more Voice updates over the coming months! Fore more information on using these features, check out our support documentation.
