As May passed by in the blink-of-an-eye, a few things remain true for us in June. Pollen is still in the air, COVID-19 still has us working from home, and through it all, our sales engagement community has pulled together like never before. From helping us host the largest virtual sales engagement conference ever, to delivering the latest and greatest in SEP products, catch-up on what happened last month in our May Round-Up.
Greater Content Controls with Just a Few Clicks
Your phone number purchases have nuanced settings--shouldn’t your content controls? Now they do with new Governance for Bulk Compose Emails, which allows admins to enable or restrict reps from sending bulk emails through Outreach. The feature can be individualized down to the rep, such as those who are new or still onboarding, and allows admins truly tailored control over the content sent to customers.

Sometimes You Feel like a Sync, Sometimes You Don’t
Sometimes reps need to send an email without syncing over everything into Outreach. Now, with Prospect Sync and Controls in Gmail, admins can enable or disable prospect auto-creation in Outreach and control the flow of prospects into Outreach. This small feature delivers greater peace of mind by ensuring that the right prospects are synced and your data integrity is maintained. When activated, reps will be automatically notified when an email is sent to a prospect and the prospect is auto-created in Outreach.

Say Goodbye to Bad Syncs
Misalignment between your CRM and Outreach can cause data discrepancies and disastrous sync-to-CRM failures. We’re helping to secure your syncs with new Unmapped Required Field Notifications, a new feature that notifies admins when CRM required fields are not mapped to Outreach field, and disables outbound create or updates to the impacted plugin type (prospects, accounts etc.) until the configuration errors are fixed.

Say My Name, Say My Name…
Sometimes it’s nice to put a name to a prospect instead of a number, so we’re making it easier with Display Record Name, which allows admins to import CRM record names to Outreach text fields when mapped to a CRM lookup field. On leads and contacts, you can now surface the field of CRM sales team members, the CRM campaign name field and more, in Outreach!
